If your department has experienced a line of duty death and you would like to receive assistance from our response team, please call our director, Wendy Norris at: 832-647-6770 or the National Fallen Firefighter's Foundation's LODD Reporting Line at: 866-736-5868. Both of these numbers are available 24 hours a day.
You will also need to report the death to the State Fire Marshal's Office by calling 512-305-7900 and then press 2. An answering service representative will take your information. Make sure that you inform them that you have experienced a fatality. A SFMO investigator will then call you back. This number is available 24 hours a day.
